Plug Power wins fuel cell commercialisation award 7th June 2012
Plug Power won the Canadian Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association (CHFCA) commercialisation award at the 2012 World Hydrogen Energy Conference, in Toronto, Ontario.
The award recognises companies' efforts in the commercialisation and manufacturing of hydrogen and fuel cell products. Intelligent Energy and Suzuki obtain Whole Vehicle Type Approval for their fuel cell scooter
Intelligent Energy, the global clean power systems company, and Suzuki Motor Corporation announced that the jointly developed Suzuki Burgman Fuel Cell Scooter has obtained a Whole Vehicle Type Approval (WVTA), meaning that the vehicle and its components are approved for production and sale within Europe. This is the first time any fuel cell vehicle has achieved this level of certification.
